Recently on another friend’s blog Keep It Simple Foods, I learned about this amazing indian food blog Healthy Indian Food that has such yummy food on it. I have made indian food several times, and it always seemed like i wasn’t quite getting it right. This blog gave easy helpful instructions. My favorites from the blog were masala bhindi (okra & tomatoes), lentil soup, and potatoes with a siracha sauce. I also made basmita rice with garam masala & a little coconut milk. What was also so great about this meal was that all the vegetables were in season and came from my CSA Bag from Rosebank Farms. My most recent bag had okra, tomatoes, potatoes, peaches, melon, cucumber, and blueberries. It is great living in a city that has such great resources to get fresh local food.
